Certificate of Conformity (CoC) for products exported to Lebanon
On August 11th 2004, the Industrial Research Institute (IRI) of Lebanon began implementing the option of a Pre-Shipment Program of Conformity Verification. The pre-shipment verification program facilitates import customs transactions, minimizes further inspection and testing on arrival, thereby reducing the overall cost, possible delay of customs release and risk to re-export due to non-conformity of the goods. To get customs clearance for the goods exported to Lebanon, each shipment must be accompanied by Certificate of Conformity (CoC).
