The Iraqi Ministerial Council for Economy issued the decision No. (230339 Q) and the notice under their letter numbered (2311066) on 6/12/2023 requiring from the manufacturers to obtain the Iraqi Quality Mark issued by the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control (COSQC) for specific electrical products imported into Iraq, such as household storage electric water heaters, household electric room heaters, household electric refrigeration appliances (refrigerator, refrigeratorfreezer and freezer), household air conditioners, electric ovens and electric cigarettes. Starting from July 1st, 2024, these electrical products entering Iraq must bear the Iraqi Quality Mark.
