The SABER program, launched by Saudi Arabia, helps in importing products by ensuring they meet the country's safety standards. This program is managed by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO).


SABER 

Breaks Down the Assessment Process into Two Main Steps for Products that are Regulated:

In Stage 1

A Product Certification of Conformity (PCoC) is issued for each regulated product, according to specific standards. The PCoC is valid for one year and helps in registering the product on the SABER platform.

2

In Stage 2

A Shipment Certificate of Conformity (SCoC) is issued for each shipment.

Through SABER, getting products into the Saudi market is made simpler, ensuring only safe and compliant products are sold.
