The UAE regulation to control hazardous substance in electrical and electronic devices (EEE) was published in the UAE official gazette on April 27, 2017 according to Cabinet Decision No. 10/2017.
The first implementation date is January 1, 2018 and companies selling electrical and electronic equipment in the UAE are in the scope of this regulation, should begin to plan for compliance accordingly.
